The Moment I Said It

I am missing So You Think You Can Dance, it's such a beautiful creative thing for television to have and there is really nothing quite up to par with it on TV now. They need to make a DVD of every season so I can watch it with a clearer picture other than you tube clips from someones lousy recording. I know I sound obsessed. Some may say I'm shallow to watch a "reality TV show". I don't care, it is pure artistry. It makes me want to dance too and that is inspiring. Anyone who knocks this show has never seen it.

What am I getting myself into?

I'm not sure this blogging thing is right for me. I have this tendency to stay up late and write weird things...but those remain primarily in my journal unread by anyone else. This is a good thing, not having others read my crazy thoughts...But at the same time I like having a part of me floating out there...I couldn't decide what to call my blog. I mean this is a big deal, right? People will always look at the title and then I'll be giving people my blog. What do I call it? The pressure was too much. It can't be too specific because I could regret that later. Like naming it "Idaho Girl". What if I never live in Idaho again? That would be awkward and I'd have to explain the whole story every time I gave out my blog. But it can't just be initials or my name spelled incorrectly, that has proven to be very confusing for people when I give out my gmail address out. Whoops. So, I thought of "Concerning Sara". Of course I Google the word concern so as to make sure that it meant what I thought it meant. (yes, slight reference to Princess Bride; I have a problem with quoting movies too much)
According to Dictionary.com, concerning means:
  1. To have to do with or relate to: an article that concerns the plight of homeless people.
  2. To be of interest or importance to: This problem concerns all of us.
  3. To engage the attention of; involve: We concerned ourselves with accomplishing the task at hand.
  4. To cause anxiety or uneasiness in: The firm's weak financial posture is starting to concern its stockholders.
So this blog will relate, be of interest, engage the attention of, and relate to me. Ta, dah! So, letting the blogging begin.
